Keeping the reviews more substantial rather than "nice, she was happy". Things to know. When they say dark Tahitians in this case at least, they primarily mean where the darker part of the shell meets the silver part. There was not a great variety of peacock, greens etc compared to the website picture. This was a little disappointing, however below will highlight the good and the "mehhh". Very strangely when photographed, they do resemble the website photos, just not to the naked eye when in person. The good: 1) Nice clasp. 2) Fast delivery with quality packaging. Excellent return policy should you choose to do so. 3) Good nacre on the pearls and they are nice and glossy aka good lustre. They have a nice feel to them. 4) These will be nice for wearing T-Shirt casual or a bit dressier. 5) Most of the flaws cannot be seen by casual viewing, you have to be looking fairly close. 6) The colours vary from darker grey metallic to silver at the bottoms with a few small peacock colours thrown in near the clasp. 6) Overall they are very nice. The enh = Meh...: 1) The largest pearl has a flaw on its face which looks like and feels like a pin hole. Also, one of the other pearls has a sharper edge near where the knots are tied. Time will tell if it shears away the threads. I wish that whoever strung them would have considered putting this one aside. Not a deal breaker but it does bother me a bit. 2) They really don't have all of the dark luminescence deeper colours shown as the website photo has when looking at them in person. 3) I feel that some of the pearls surpass the flaw allowance that their AAA rating allows for. 4) The smaller pearls "just" reach the 8mm mark, I feel it couldn't have hurt them to beef up the strand a bit more for the price. (nit picky) This is my second purchase from The Pearl Source Canada, and overall I am pleased with my purchases. I know they would have replaced 2 of the pearls I mentioned but I think that someone has to love them :) and so I shall.

Love the pearl necklace and earring set I purchased! Order process was easy and delivery was fast. Rated at AAAA, the luster was excellent! Although I was expecting the shape of the pearl necklace would be perfect round, it's not 100% exact true round, but I still love the set and expecting to wear many time in the near future.

I absolutely LOVE my South Pacific Gold pearl necklace. I got it to match pearl earrings gifted from my sister in honor of our Grandfather who died in WWII. I only gave it 4 stars because there are visible notches on the pearl. I noticed them immediately upon opening the box. I thought about returning them but decided to keep em.

great looking bacelet, the only thing that bothered me was the two small cheap looking beads
Exactly as shown in the photo. They hug the ear lobe pretty tightly so if you have long lobes it might be an issue. I actually love how tight they fit to my lobe, it looks super classy.
Pictures do not do it justice at all! So much more beautiful in person! The packaging is also gorgeous! I cannot wait to give this to my daughter on her college graduation day!

Beautiful rose-pearl tone. Super classy piece, life-long investment. Clasp isn't the classic type which closes all the way (as it's designed differently, not a damaged piece), slightly concerned about the bracelet falling off at some point, might have it replaced just in case.

The colour and luster of these pearls is stunning. However, the pearls are more silver-toned than shown in the picture. Also, there is a noticeable variation in the size of pearls on the same strand. I understand that it’s advertised as 8-10 mm pearls, but I assumed the pearls would all be of a similar size within that range. As it is, it looks like they were strung by an amateur who was incapable of choosing matching sized pearls. It’s disconcerting to run your hands along the strand and encounter the occasional pearl that is of a noticeably different size. For this price point, they should all have been of a more closely-matched size.
